Club Nights at Ripples

Ripples St Marys Swimming Club runs club nights on Monday nights during both the summer and winter seasons.

Club nights are a great opportunity for emerging, as well as experienced swimmers to practice their race skills and  to enjoy the fitness, fun and friendship that Ripples St Marys Swimming Club has to offer.

During each club night, the program offers swimmers a choice of 25/50/100m events as well as distance seasonal events. Events are seeded and swimmers are encouraged to compete against their own times.

A seasonal pointscore operates during each season, whilst Age and Distance Championships are held towards the end of each season. Awards are presented at the end of season Presentation based on these results.

The success of every club night is reliant on family volunteer assistance. Club night duties for volunteers include timekeeping, marshalling, bbq, fundraising, refreshments, setting up and packing away.

A qualified Starter and Referee is in attendance on most nights so that "official times" can be claimed as qualifying or entry times for meets.

A Club Book is published each season containing Club Night Procedures, Club Night Program, Code of Behaviour etc
