2017/2018 Summer Club Nights

due to renovations at Ripples Leisure Centre, St Marys during the month of October,

Monday club nights will be held at Penrith Pool until the St Marys pool's renovations are complete.

Monday nights starting 9th October at 6.00pm at

Penrith Pool, 119 Station Street Penrith (opposite KMart).

Entries will close at 5.00pm the Friday prior to club night 


All other club nights will be a maximum of 3 swims

  Entries should be submitted through the Ripples St Marys Swimming Club website at by clicking on the 'Detail' in the Meet Events Schedule.  

 Swim Program : 

 The distances offered will be :

* 25m/50m/100m/200m/400m/800m/1500m distances as per the 2017/2018 Summer Club Night program.  

Swimmers will be able to compete in a maximum of three (3) swim events each club night (except on the first night 9th October 2017 when four (4) 25m or 50m swim events are permitted).   

Swimmers are NOT permitted to swim 25m, 50m or 100m of the SAME stroke on the SAME NIGHT.

Only ONE DISTANCE SWIM is permitted each night i.e. one (1) 200m OR one (1) 400m swim event (as per program). 

Swimmers must be 6 years and over to attempt any 100m swims.

Swimmers must be 9 years and over to attempt any 200m swims.

Swimmers must be 10 years and over to attempt any 400m swims.

Please be aware that there are Compulsory Break Times for distances of 200m and beyond (refer to page 7 of the 2017/2018 Summer Club Book).

2017/2018 Summer Club Night Fees must be paid prior to competing. 

Fees for Club Championships will be a flat rate of $10.00 and will be payable for all swimmers towards the end of the season.

Entries: Via the Meets Event Schedule on the club website -  entries will close at 5.00pm the Friday prior

Official times :  will be submitted to Swimming NSW if a qualified referee and starter are officiating

Club Records :  All Pointscore and Club Championships swim times will be eligible for Club Records if a qualified referee and starter officiate and there are at least 2 timekeepers on each lane. The age of the swimmer on the day, is the age of the record they set/break.

Kickboard swims or additional time trial events are ineligible to break or set club records.

Volunteers : Parents are required to volunteer the minimum number of nights as per the 2017/2018 Summer Club Night Booklet for their child/ren to be eligible for the club championships at the end of the season.
